Chicago Pita Kitchen

I was advised to try the salmon, so I opted for the salmon pita, and it was fantastic! I look forward to returning with my kids to enjoy some milkshakes.

I can’t believe I've walked past this place so many times without ever stopping in. It took an old friend to show me how great it is, and now I won't forget it. Get ready to be filled up like a panda bear with their HUGE portion sizes and extensive menu options. I tried their Original Drago-Bob (grilled, skewered meat) and it was absolutely amazing—like a hit song by Sheila E. I had the gyro as well, and it was so flavorful that I could hardly concentrate on my conversation with my friend. The staff and owners here are fantastic too. This is why I LOVE Chicago!

Only issue I have is that I ordered food to be delivered to my girlfriend at her job since I had to get ready for work and paid over the phone. The delivery then charged her a second time claiming that it wasn't paid for. She tried to go back a couple dayslater and denied reimbursement because she had tipped the driver as well so the totals were different as I had tipped adifferent amount. The food is great so I still order there, but refuse to tip that driver again.

Food is great. I absolutely love it. My only complaint is every time the guy answers the phone he screws up my order. If the female answers, it is always spot on. The delivery guy really needs to stop answering the phone. When we try to order from myoffice, if he answers we just hang up, and go some place else.

If you're a fan of salmon, I highly recommend trying their salmon pita—it's absolutely delicious! If you enjoy a hint of spice, feel free to add some hot peppers to it. The portions are extremely generous; the salad is enormous and they definitely don't skimp on anything. The gyro plate could easily feed four people, so I suggest ordering some extra sauce and one additional pita, as the plate already comes with three pitas. They are also very accommodating with special requests. This restaurant truly cares about the quality of what they serve their customers.
