Cheesie's Pub Grub- Wicker Park

My go-to “gross” food (in the best way possible). I’m not a huge gross food person but the first time I had the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese here, I walked back to get another one immediately after. Fair warning, it’s a heart attack in a sandwich but sometimes absolutely necessary. Bread is amazing, cheese is amazing, I will never look anywhere else for “gross” food again.

I came here to order one of their famous grilled cheese sandwiches and it was a pop up shop not a grill and pub! So I had to order online only or thru a QR code outside the restaurant! and the wait time was 50 mins. Needless to say I was very disappointed at this location. It was a wasted trip.

This place was awesome. The food was really good and the staff there is really welcoming. Highly recommend it! I live 4 hours away and will be coming back soon!

The food is reliably great. You know what you're getting into: slightly exotic grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm a big fan of the tenderizer.
