Carm's Beef Italian Ice - Chicago

I never know what to get because it's all good. The burgers, the steak tacos, the gyro... And their horchata italian ice, delicious! And the staff is cool too!

This is the old school dog stand of your dreams. Solid renditions of stalwart classics.

Tasty, flavorful, and I really liked the perfectly seasoned peppers and celery on top. I had asked for my sandwich to come dry, but they served it wet (dipped) instead. Not a deal breaker, as it was still really good. Horchata Italian ice was also really refreshing. They accept credit cards but with a $5 minimum purchase... Italian ice is cash only!

I love this place. Many happy memories getting Italian ice after little league and softball. Still waiting for the French fry, Italian beef and 151 Bacardi flavors!
