Cafecito - Chicago

I keep returning to this place despite that there’s no apparent shortage of restaurants and cafes in this city. Cuban coffee and a variety of Cuba inspired breakfasts always grab my attention.

I really enjoy their vegan sandwiches and yuca frita at this restaurant. Their iced coffee is also quite tasty. The outdoor patio is lovely to dine at during the summer. However, the service is mediocre as the server was not very attentive. Despite this, the delicious food makes the experience worthwhile.

Great food, great service, super affordable for the quality you get. One of the more interesting restaurant brunch options. Love this location for both brunch and lunch.

Went a few times and tried different satisfying plates including a delicious squash soup and their coffee is pretty darn good, all while listening to inviting latin rhythms...

I love the food at Cafecito and also the one downtown and river north is one of my favorite stops. I love the Cubano sandwich and pretty much any of their sandwiches and soups. I also love the dessert cookies. Excellent food. I recommend you make a stop as well.
