Bongiorno's Cucina Italiana Pizzeria

A fantastic local Italian restaurant! I was in Chicago for the day, and a friend suggested I give this spot a try. The staff was extremely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. The pizza arrived steaming hot! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend stopping by!

The service was outstanding and the food was amazing! We started with garlic bread topped with cheese and a pepperoni pizza, both of which were delightful. Even though we were quite full, we couldn't resist trying their gelato, and it was absolutely worth it. It made for a perfect sweet finish to our meal. I highly recommend dining on their patio to enjoy a lovely evening!

This charming neighborhood Italian restaurant offers authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and the service from the owners is exceptional. Before I get into the review, this place is located inside the River Plaza at 405 N. Wabash. Turn at the River Plaza sign off N. Wabash and follow the sidewalk into the River Plaza building. Stopped by during lunch while visiting Chicago. I've had allthe usual deep-dish pizzas and other well-known pizza places in Chicago, so wanted to try someplace different. It was lunchtimeduring the week, but it was not too crowded. There's about 10 tables both inside and outside, but it was a rainy day so optedfor the inside. They don't sell individual slices, but the small 10 pizza is only 4 reasonable slices. Service was very fastand friendly. Ordered the 10 Capricciosa pizza which took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Pizza was straight out the oven andlooked great. Crust was a good thickness, crispy, just the right amount of sauce, and there was a generous amount ofingredients. They also have desserts such as gelato, tiramisu, cannolis, and cookies. I was too full for anything big, so justordered 2 cookies after another customer recommended them. It was a good recommendation. Nice hidden gem for good pizza. Goodfood and service.

Just phenomenal. The service was good, but the food was just raised. I can't say how good it was different than pure ecstasy. The salad was the perfect mix of mozzarella, tomatoes, salad and olive oil, which made a combination of flavors for a salad unlike any other. The salad was one of the simplest, but I was best for a while. Now the main course was about what I expected. The perfect blend of soft pasta layers, sticky and hearty meat, paired with crimson scrumptious red sauce and topped with fantastic melted cheese bring you directly to taste city. The tastes, textures and smells combine to make the best Italian food I've ever eaten and the best culinary experience in a few years. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants Italian. And for their low price day, it is criminal how underestimated the restaurant is. Delicious!
