Acadia - Chicago

They were closers! Drove two hours only to find out they have been closed for quite sometime. Why are they still accepting reservations on Open Table?!?!?!

Excellent flavors and service, especially considering the fact they are operating during a pandemic.

The Maine-inspired menu was AMAZING! We ordered a Spanish cheese and ham platter and east coast oysters for appetizers. The oysters were huge and delicious. I order the lobster pot pie for dinner and my husband ordered the steak frites. Everything on our plates was delicious. Acadia always brings it and never disappoints. We learned from our waitress that they are going to be closed for some restaurant renovations! We look forward to returning (hopefully soon) for a dinner inside the newly renovated space.

While visiting my younger sister, a Chicago resident, I wanted to treat her to an early dinner out. Fortunately Acadia was up and running with a sweet paradise escape of a patio. The food was casual and delicious. The service was good- however we did feel as though the server may have forgotten us once or twice, and we were not asked if we had any allergies or sensitivities. Beverages were well-priced and tasty. Overall a pleasant experience...a welcome mini-respite from the world's chaos.

Small patio seating and limited menu due to Covid-19. The food was nicely done and tasty but again, choice was small. The cheeseburger was excellent as was the lobster roll. I hope the restaurant survives the restrictions of the pandemic as I would love to eat here when full service and Michelin Star food returns.
