Don Cafe - CHIAVARI

I come in with a friend to get an aperitif, none of the staff welcomes me so I decide to go inside the club: I find 2/3 girls behind the bar counter talking to each other, they don't even notice me. I approach and ask if we can sit in one of the tables and answer one of them by saying yes. So we sit down and with surprise we notice that a football game is about to be broadcast. They spend about 10 minutes and no one comes to take the order, meanwhile it starts raining copiously. At some point the place fills with people, the girls come out but do not worry to close the side windows of the room from which the rain comes in (to this the customers just entered), but they start to move all the tables present. At that moment one of them arrives and tells us guys have booked? ... my friend and I remain unpolished and of course we answer no... And she promptly and with a daring tone tells us tonight there is the game, it is all busy. To this answer I immediately replied, saying that shortly before I had entered to ask if we could sit down and his colleague (who was next to her) had replied yes. In all this the waitress doesn't deserve me a little attention, doesn't even mention a slight excuse for misunderstanding, and literally takes the table from under the nose... Get off the show now. I've never been treated like this anywhere in my life. Moral of the fairy tale: my friend and I find ourselves hunted by the local, under a waterfall and without even a hint of excuses for misunderstanding by the staff. And to think we just wanted to make an aperitif... Tip: If the tables are booked, it would be appropriate to put on some markers, as they do everywhere. Obviously I discourage everyone, since customers are treated this way. Inexperienced, rude and unable to handle the situation. The first feature that should possess those who work with the public is the friendliness... And here she didn't even see herself remotely. Shame.

A good drink with something to tease at an honest price. Local located in a very nice setting being on the sea, moreover my compliments to the staff very helpful to the needs of the customer.

With my family, we discovered this delicious pastry. We were initially attracted by a showcase of exquisiteness and Sicilian sweets. The room furnished with an exceptional elegance is not only a pastry bar but also a restaurant where you can taste authentic Sicilian dishes. Everything comes strictly from Sicily. The staff is kind, professional and friendly and especially DAILA and the very good ELIA that have conquered us with their suggestions on Sicilian delicacies. It's really a must stop.. Everything is delicious.. Really good where you can discover the true authentic taste of Sicilian cuisine and pastry. To return absolutely. Bravo!

Enjoy cocktails and accompanying snacks. Even very reasonable prices. We happened on Monday because the Nelson pub, where we wanted to go, was closed. Moderately satisfied stays

We stayed last night for an aperitif in front of the sea. We were in 4: 2 adults and 2 small children. We sat outside. Unfortunately even in the veranda they smoke and inside they have no seats... So you're forced to sit with your children between smokers and put your soul in peace. They only brought us the soda card, so we ordered a drink and something to eat by relying on what was written on a board. Too bad that only when I asked to see the food list I found out that: 1) what we had ordered contained fish (and we are vegetarians); and 2)that this is not a suitable place for vegetarians. I haven't been able to find a place with ZERO NULLA NIENTE for vegetarians... Let's go for vegans! Yes, it's as if always asking to take away something and fit you, but it surprised me the same. Not a nice, good goat. I mean, after correcting and completing the order, the drinks first arrived... But no appetizers. After 15 minutes of drinks watering with the ice, I got up to ask if they were bringing the appetizers... After another 10 Mins bring us appetizers and what ordered. For the appetizers they are justified by saying that usually when they bring food they do not bring the appetizers thinking that people do not want them... Too bad I asked him to bring vegetarian snacks. We did a second round of aperitif... No appetizers here. On the other hand we ordered a cheese cutter that comes with a piece of moldy cheese... Total to pay for this evening to forget 61 euro. The only thing to save is the sea view, the rest is just to not recommend. I put a ball because I can't put negative score otherwise I would put a -3.
