フィードバックを提供するGreat local restaurant with delicious Nordic dishes. We tried fried fish with garlic, which recommend many reviewers, and it was good, but I enjoyed the other dishes we ordered even more. Fresh ingredients and distinctive aromas. The staff was helpful and attentive without being excessive. I thought the food and the service were better here than in the Riverfront restaurants in the city. Large seating area and many parking spaces along the street outside the restaurant.
When most people who eat our locals, then you know you got a gem. The deep fried fish with deep fried garlic is a MUST. Delicious, crunchy goodness. And oh that garlic is just bliss. We also ordered roasted pork which was not bad too. The beef tendon soup was too spicy though for our liking. Service was good. We arrived around 10:30AM so thankfully the restaurant was not yet packed but based on other reviews the place gets packed.
I would give this a 6 star if I could. The signature dish of red curry pork soup is to die for. I have eaten here 2 3 times a week since I moved to Chiang Rai. I usually get the Mango Salad as well which is also excellent and I have not felt the need to order anything else which gets me some questioning looks from the waitress(s).
Tried most of the Mark Wiens recommended dishes. I've visited them thrice during my stay and my most favourite is Tom Sab Moo. Wish it was a bit less crowded most of the time. 1 less star because of the excess crowd and the orders get a bit messed up sometimes.
Excellent Thai food, chicken wings are amazingly good and very large, lap moo with garlic ,yam voon sen delicious, som tom as good as your going to find in Thailand, really reasonable prices.
