Baker Playground - CHESTNUT HILL

The number of slides and climbing structures gives this place a one up on other playgrounds around. Don’t love the wood chip base though and there are no swings.It is well shaded though in the morning and has 4 large shaded picnic tables as well. The 9 different slides including the roller slide is probably the best feature. There is a basketball court, soccer/baseball field, and a bunch of Four Square courts. There are no public bathrooms.

BSED has been an excellent program since it’s inception 40+ years ago when my children attended (thank you Mrs Fay! and now my grandchildren are enjoying BSED as well. Thank you to all the great people who make BSED work so well!

Great school and environment really nice and safe structures and a huge field I think if they added a swing set It would be nice. Also a good basketball court

Woodchip playground with drinking fountain, no public restroom. Soccer field is well maintained, but sometimes the goals have been missing early in the season. The field could use more shade and seating for parents.
