The Tap House - Chesterfield

During our short break in the area, we decided to explore the local beer scene and stumbled upon this gem. They offer a unique sampler of three one-third pints, allowing us to try a variety of brews. We also indulged in a surprisingly large pork pie and pickles, which was a great value for a snack. The ambiance of the pub was charming and old-fashioned, with beautiful antique tiles in the restroom. The establishment was clean and well-maintained, and it was pleasantly quiet during our visit on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly and provided helpful service throughout our visit.

I have previously reviewed this delightful pub, but I had not been able to visit since it reopened after the lockdowns. Fortunately, not much has changed. The service is prompt and friendly, with a great variety of beers and a pleasant atmosphere. A true pub experience! I am excited for my next visit.

Very busy pub around one kilometre from Chesterfield town centre. Good selection of various brewery bitters. Staff attentive and friendly. Not the biggest pub inside so easily gets full. Well worth a visit.

Called on a quiet Monday night for a drink with my wife. Great choice of 8 cask ales and good choice of ciders lagers and fruit beers. Bern in before at weekends and it is usually lively. Staff are good so well worth a visit.
