The decor inside was really cozy not your typical chairs it felt like you were back at home. Music selection was really good too. I order the chicken and waffles with a cornbread appetizer. The food was amazing initially, but when I got home I did feel somewhat nauseous assuming I ate too much I thought nothing of it. We had a wonderful server, first of all. The restaurant is adorable and cozy. Our food was delicious, and we tried fried pickled green tomatoes, corn bread, burger and chicken and waffles. However, I got very sick a couple of hours later. My fiance was nauseous but we just assumed we ate too much, and since we don't eat out often, too much fried and salty food didn't sit well with me. And then my fiance ate the leftovers the next day... And got just as sick if not worse.

I am so glad I visited here. The place is fantastic. Elegant southern ambiance and flawless friendly service and staff. They have 3 menus, lunch, late afternoon light menu that starts 3pm and dinner menu that starts 5pm. One of the best whiskey and bourbon lists I've ever seen. Worthy of a Louisville or a Vegas place. We always enjoy dining at Southern Bloom. The wine. Spirits and beer list is full of great options. We dined in the bar area and had apps and cocktails. The atmosphere is great, servers and bartenders are knowledgeable! We enjoyed the pickled fried green tomatoes, hush puppies and meat and cheese plate. Our server Amy was awesome! She was pleasant and full of opinions on drinks and menu.

First time visiting this update to the Eagle Tavern that occupied this location for many years. Very clean, crisp, cozy decor in a bright comfortable setting. Service was very good from start to finish. We were there for a lunch and it seemed off they were unable to do the short rib grilled cheese (which we had been told by friends was fantastic) and the salmon salad. They were also out of biscuits.
