An enjoyable evening. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was excellent and fairly priced. Good options for restricted diets were available too. It was nice there being an open fire but, if anything, we were seated a bit close to it where it felt quite hot but this wasn't a big problem. Vegetarian options: A good offering of vegetarian dishes and a couple of vegan, with options of vegan versions for a couple more. Price per person: £20–30

The service was brilliant, such a lovely atmosphere and friendly all around. Our waiter was Matthew, he was incredibly friendly and helpful as were the all the other staff. It was our first time visiting The Church Mouse. We were greeted by friendly staff and took to our table right next to the fire. We were served by Reece who was extremely friendly and attentive.
