My son loves the Calzone! Beautiful atmosphere inside and especially beautiful in summer when you can eat on the terrace. Great service always. Great prices.
A long stand and local favorite in Enon!. When they were in the old location, the food was excellent and the service was great. It was cozy and I am sure that the rent for the location was not so bad, which in turn meant lower prices for items on the menu. When they built the brand new building, it became a beautiful sit-down restaurant with beautiful ambience and became less of a mother and pop pizzeria connection. The prices are $6.00 $20.00 and the portions are very generous. I would say the average price would be similar to any other nice Italian seat restaurant. I'm sure there's a higher lead in a new building. It seems logical to me that their prices are rising. Service over the years is the same great! My husband and I have never received bad or terrible services. If it is very busy, yes, it could be slower service, but overall it is expected if the servers have more than 3 tables each and run around drinks, orders, food etc. If you are not willing to wait between 20 30 minutes (if you are really busy) for your meal arrive where you know it is freshly prepared and order, then maybe Cesare 's is not the right place for you. Maybe you prefer the speed of a fast food joint. Cesare 's is not fast food and should not be confused as such. It is not a franchise with long waits and average food for the same amount of money. I would rather spend my money in a well-established, locally owned and operated company. If you decide to try Cesare 's, I suggest you order something next to a simple spaghetti or pizza. I think they're shining with their special dishes! Her seafood Alfredo, which has a generous part of shrimps, crabs and scallops, is one of my most popular and it is not on the actual menu. It was a special court they had long ago and will still do. Just ask the server to see if the cook can. It is delicious and it costs $14.99 (contains a salad) a great value considering that the portion is huge. Also each of the veal or chickens Entrée dishes are delicate and tasteful. If you are leaving a review, not on and on about once bad service. To be fair, you don't know what happened this night. They could have been given a short hand and did the best they could with the staff they had. When the hostess takes care of tables, it means they are swapped. You have the possibility to go or even talk to the owner or management if you have a problem with the service or food! If you don't say anything to them, they can't do anything to make the long wait or talk to a bad server you might have had. With a wide brush to paint the entire restaurant as one you think others should simply avoid because you had a bad experience, is simply irresponsible and simply ridiculous! I understand that it is your opinion and experience, but a bad experience is not really fair if you don't talk to anyone in the restaurant about your frustration. To leave snippy and openly irrelevant comments, how, the bread is likely from another bakery Uh, who cares if they bring someone else into their bread? They never claim that their bread is freshly baked on site every day; they are a restaurant not a bakery. To complain and not actually a helpful review of food or value for the price point is simply ridiculous and not an actual review!
Cesare's ristorante italiano. Great new location ...true Italian owned by an Italian! Owner on site every day!!! Full service bar terrace seating large party room holds about 100 people. Recently, we had a rehearsal dinner there for ninety...maybe the prices...very elegant...white tablecloth. The owner really worked with us at our selections. Staff efficiently and professionally dressed. Even the bathrooms are granite....we really felt like our guests were also picked!! we had wonderful knowledge that we did not break the bank!!!
Opinion falters after move. Cesare's has always been one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. For most of my time in the area, it has been high quality food at a very affordable price. When it has come to crunch time to chose a restaurant to eat at when meeting with friends and family, Cesare's has been the default choice. Recently they broke away from the confines of their old home and into a brand new building, custom built and designed for the wonderful Italian restaurant Cesare's. The change of venue will allow it to be a great Italian restaurant in the Greater Richmond area and not just a local gem in Chester. Along with the move came some changes within the restaurant. The prices have risen a bit making it less of a deal, but still affordable and the food that you receive when you order take out is not as good as what you receive in the restaurant. From years of ordering take out to avoid the packed restaurant, it has been a great disappointment to pay more and get less. Despite the declining take out experience, the dine in experience has improved greatly with the custom restaurant, décor, and expanded room. So, I still have to recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to meet friends for a delicious, filling meal.
The gluten-free pizza was quite tasty. However, the drink I ordered didn't feel worth the price I paid. On the bright side, the service was excellent. It was a nice, relaxing lunch for mothers with special needs. Unfortunately, there was a loud group in the room next to us who played music, making it hard to hear anything else.
