The Bouverie Bar Restaurant - Chester

Never had that eating, but it is a good local pub good atmosphere, reasonable (not cheap but not expensive) prices and friendly staff.

Came here for food as website stated it did. On arrival drinks only but pleasant service. Great beer garden at rear.

Nice pub for pre drinks before heading out to town, staff are sound and the inside is quite warming. The best time to be in this pub is during the euros, absolutely incredible atmosphere!

Really like this place. I used to go a lot years ago with work friends. Popped in today after work, only stayed for one drink, but was taken aback by the price £4.45 for a pint of lager. I know a lot of pubs are struggling and have difficulty because of the competition from the main UK chain of pubs, but it seems a bit excessive. I have no complaints about the pub itself, just the prices.

What a shame about this once decent pub the men's toilets looks like a building site that's been abandoned it reeks of stale urine and a hazard to human health now the bar staff real bad attitude hasn't a clue what's she's doing can't pour a pint to save her life I personally witnessed her serving underage customers glad its not my local wish I could have given half a star
