I had high expectations for this restaurant when I visited in July 2022, but I was ultimately disappointed. As soon as I walked in, the smell of the pub was off-putting...

We were a group of eight with a reservation at 6:30. We were seated promptly. We were seated in the dining room, It took a while for drink order to be taken, and appetizers. We ordered the calamari, which was delicious. But we had no utensils. We also couldn’t get the attention of the manager or our server to get some on three attempts . At least calamari can be finger food. Those dishes were eventually cleared. Our mains took forever to arrive. Our food finally arrived at 8:00. One of our party’s order was even later arriving. We were seated in the dining room. No less than three other tables that were seated after us, were all served long before we were. Same to for the three tables on the patio. I ordered the stuffed haddock. The description on menu: “scallop and shrimp bread stuffing, wrapped in a haddock fillet served with ….. “. I had ONE shrimp and ZERO scallops. It was a piece of haddock wrapped around bread stuffing over rice with one shrimp on top. Certainly not worth $25. During our time there our server did not check on us or come to say the kitchen was busy, or whatever the reason for the slow food service was. We also had to ask or waters for the table. None were offered. If the eight of us, only two were happy with their mains.

Stopped for a couple of beers and ordered their house beer. It was very tasty and nice and cold. Great service but sticker shock when we got the bill. $34 for 3 draft beers!! Yikes. It's was good but not that good. Funny too because you can pull up their appetizer menu and their food menu but not their beverage menu on their website. Hmm, wonder why....
