フィードバックを提供するA serious downturn in quality. Turturici from 2006 ton2020 was outstanding. Brilliant Italian cuisine, great wine list and decent value. Then post pandemic in came a new bloke who basically took crowd pleaser food and when so up its backside it wasn 't true. Add 25pc on the menu for everything and all of a sudden an attitude then a great place to visit (over 100 times since 2006) to a place we won 't go anymore. We then in 2023 Learned that it had closed. Not surprised, it was the new bloke that killed it.
I visited with a few friends recently and everything was brilliant! The staff are very welcoming and the food is lovely. Every visit is always a 10/10, I’d highly recommend going!
Upon our arrival, the restaurant was bustling with activity, and we were promptly seated. The service provided by our server, a young lady, was excellent as she made sure we were well taken care of. While the starters were delicious, the rabbit pasta was a disappointment. It arrived lukewarm and tasted more like chicken, making us question if it was truly rabbit. The sauce had a gooey consistency reminiscent of Chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup, and overall, the dish was quite bland. On the other hand, my partner enjoyed their pizza. It seems that the standards have declined, with some diners even wearing tracksuits. The atmosphere was no longer as upscale as it once was, but this seems to be a common trend these days. However, it wouldn't hurt for the restaurant manager to step up their game as well. Their manner of communication with the staff, using silent hand signals and eye movements, was quite off-putting for diners.
I went to Turturici with friends tonight and the food was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was delightful. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The restaurant is cute, but the low ceilings make it quite noisy. Even though it wasn't crowded, the noise from the coffee machine made it hard to hear my companions. The service was excellent, with a great team. Unfortunately, the food did not meet the same standard. The linguine main course was flavorless, and the spicy pizza had an excessive amount of chilies, so I could only eat half of it after scraping them off. It seemed like the chef had gone overboard with the spice.
