フィードバックを提供するThis was our fourth visit to Manor House Alsager again we had a great time. We went to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary the staff were welcoming friendly as per usual. The room was large clean. The breakfasts was well cooked . As for the evening meal that could not be faulted. It ya great put the way hotel for relaxation. We would like to thank the staff for their hospitality surprising us with a dish they prepared a great touch.
Friendly welcome here and excellent service throughout. Bit of a false start when one of us received bacon on what we thought was a vegetarian Asparagus starter. At first we thought it was our mistake but our waitress, Holly, was honest enough to admit that the menu was incorrect. The dish was remade without hesitation. My food was exceptional. Poached cod then the shrimp pasta, an excellent dish. A really good organic Montepulciano Nero D'Avola for £26, good value.
First time visit to celebrate a birthday. Once we had worked out the car park height restriction and where to get into the restaurant we found staff to be warm and welcoming and very attentive. We had chicken liver parfait to start which was lovely although the brioche toast was tasty but very crumbly. Roast lamb and roast beef for mains as it was Sunday. Meats were nicely cooked. A huge Yorkshire pudding and a good selection of veg. Our only quibble was the roast potatoes more like a baked potato that had perhaps been roasted a little and then kept for a while. Other veg were fine. Desserts sticky toffee was delicious and cheese selection very good. A couple of pints and a glass of wine brought the bill to £84. Nice atmosphere decor was more Hotel than restaurant. Would recommend but would try other dishes next time .
Stayed in the hotel over the last few months and generally ate 'in ' at least once/week which is unusual for me as I tend to go out to eat. Food here was really good and consistent though and staff very friendly.
Really great meal at the Stables with two friends. Great choice of starters and mains. Can highly recommend the Burrata with heritage tomatoes, the duck pate and the fritamisto were both excellent. Fish and chips for main for me which was fresh and well cooked, wife had a chicken supreme. Service was really top class . We have eaten here many times over the years and when it changed hands we felt it had lost its edge. However, this restaurant has really got its mojo back and is really well worth a visit . You can eat in the really nice bar or upstairs .
