The experience was flawless. I would highly recommend it. We dined in for dinner and the price per person ranged from £20 to £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect rating of 5.

After driving up and down the A49 for years and always wondering about this restaurant, I finally had the chance to stop in for a very late Sunday lunch. The sign outside advertised "Serving roast dinners until it's gone!", and luckily they still had roasts available at 4pm. My friend and I chose the 2-course meal for £19.99. She started with the salt 'n' pepper chicken wings, which were excellent - the crispy coating on the whole wings was fantastic, and the chili dressing and side salad were a nice addition. I opted for the mushroom and Stilton bake, which was delicious with its stringy mozzarella and salty Stilton. For our main course, we both had the beef roast, which was cooked to perfection and served with 8 different vegetables. The restaurant was cozy, comfortable, and decorated for Christmas, which added to the atmosphere. The staff were helpful and attentive, although a bit slow when we asked for the bill. I would give this restaurant a perfect score of 5 in Service, Atmosphere, and overall experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and throughout our meal, they were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making for a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for top-notch service and a great atmosphere.
