Podi thattu Idly was a tad spicey and could have been better with little more ghee(per my teenager kid). Medhu vada was hot and crisp. Sambar and accompaniments very good<br/ <br/ Coffee was good, could have been a tad stronger. One MUST DO is to use a smaller cup for the mini(100 ml) coffee instead of giving half a cup in the larger(200 ml) mug. From a comfort and presentation perspective it would have been nice<br/ <br/ Overall a good experience!
Weekly thrice i am going to id for lunchTheir negatives are they dont have an long menu its very simple one they can add some more on it and the taste differs on daily basis
ID is known for serving quality South Indian food and they continue to do so around at all the branches. At first glance the prices look slightly over priced but the moment the food is served we realize the prices are justified. They maintain their high quality food along with great taste. Tried out their South Indian meals and it was on of the best meals I've eaten in the city.
Been waiting to try ID since a long time. Finally gave it a try this week. Trust me..It's a must visit place for those who enjoy authentic south Indian dishes. Seems like a bit expensive from outside but actually it isn't. Good thing is that they also accept #zomatogold<br/ .<br/ .<br/ Where: ID #harringtonroad #chetpet (location tagged)<br/ .<br/ What did we order: Sambar Idli, Ghee Dosa, Sambar Vada and Ended with Sweet Pongal (It beats Murugan idli sweet pongal)<br/ .<br/ Cost for two: 400/ .<br/ Can't wait to try rest of their menu soon
This week I and my friend went there for breakfast, while waiting for him I ordered the filter coffee 200ml, its good, one huge drawback was so hot it took me 20 minutes to have it. Then once my friend arrived I ordered for sambar vadai and he went with normal vadai and both of us with 2 plates of rava idly and then finally rava kesari.<br/ The sambar was too pungent. And then the rava kesari was very dry. And the table where we sat it was damaged they should repair it. Not a good one to dine.<br/ The staff are kind and responded perfectly.<br/ As of with the ambience there is proper comfort and spacious. They might need to do some changes in their washroom. Happy for a parking space.<br/ If you could change the taste aspect of the sambar it will be very helpful, not all people can digest pungent and spicy foods.<br/ Rava kesari has to be made in a way it can be digested and easy to eat, it was 80% dry.<br/ We did have a good hour at the restaurant.<br/
