Topper's Pizza - Chelmsford

I placed an order online a few weeks ago but ended up cancelling it because the delivery time was going to be 1 1/2 hours. I also found it difficult to believe that they did not have a phone number to call and instead had to go through a call center. Today, I placed my order at 1:37 for a 5 pm delivery. After the delivery was 20 minutes late, I called the call center but they did not seem to care. The delivery person was great, but we asked him to relay to the store that if we wanted our order for 5:30 instead of 5:00, we would have ordered it that way. They were "batching" the orders to all go out at the same time. As for the $50 I paid for two pizzas, this will be the last time I order mediocre pizza from this restaurant.

I placed an order at 10AM for a staff meeting lunch at 12PM. There was no communication about any issues with the order. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the order at 1:30 after not receiving it.

Toppers was my go-to pizza. The clelmsford location is ruining it for me. The last 4-5 times our order has been messed up, missing items, late or under/over cooked. You should expect to have a good experience when you order hours in advance and pay delivery and tip. Having to call in about missing paid for items and just Then given a refund because it would take an hour to get the items or brought the complete wrong order. It doesn't build trust with customers. Please all we ask is what we pay for in a reasonable amount of time.

Lots of toppings .. thick crust.. .. not a budget pizza..Well worth the price.Good quality

3 times the price of any other pizza place and you get less pizza less toppings and worse quality. When making a online order it will lie about the price and out of nowhere an extra charge of around 15 bucks called store price match will be added and you won 't know until the pizza shows up.Every other pizza place will discount the pizza when they don 't show up after an hour but this place will state that online orders are not eligible for that or just fight you on it and give you a dollar back. Ordering by phone is a joke and their automated system is from the 1900 's.I once waited a whole night only to realize the place was closed but the online ordering system still took my order and sent me back the confirmation email.A friend who hates their sauce tried ordering a non tomato sauce medium pizza and it ended up being 90 dollars for 1 pizza just because of the odd toppings on a specialty pizza. All the good reviews are from 4 years ago or more thats because back then the prices were actually close to every other place and not 3 times that amount.Now lets talk about their pizza. The sauce is too thick that the workers can 't spread it. You can ask for 10 times the amount of cheese and they will charge you for that amount but the pizza will show up with the exact same amount of cheese as double cheese.If you order onions you get onion peels and if you order mushrooms you get dried pieces of leather. If you compare the pizza sizes to any other pizza chain you notice the medium pizza is a small and their large is a medium.They used to dope their pizza with sugar and grease before delivering it to the schools to get all the kids hooked young and i remember tasting the pizza and figuring this out at 10 years old.This company is slowly killing itself and i bet the owners blame everything else but the obvious. They can 't run a business or make a pizza to save their own lives and instead relied on getting kids addicted then raising their prices to insane amounts and squeezing every dime out before cutting and running.
