The White Hart - Cheddar

In a village filled with chilly seaside tea rooms, it was a delightful surprise to discover this cozy and welcoming pub. The food is great, but if you visit on a busy Sunday, I recommend opting for the carvery to avoid a long wait. My Country Pie took 35 minutes to arrive.

This is a fantastic English pub featuring delicious, hearty food—definitely try the fish and chips! The staff is even better; they're incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't express enough how great they are. It was a truly wonderful experience in a charming little English town. I loved it!

We have never experienced such poor treatment as we did at this restaurant. We waited 40 minutes at our table to place an order, and when the staff finally approached us, they rudely kicked us out—something I've never encountered before. When we tried to ask for an explanation, they turned their backs on us. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also a major issue; it was unpleasantly dirty, and the tables were oddly sticky. On a positive note, we discovered another really nice restaurant in town afterwards.
