Community Pie - Chattanooga

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. I bring my kids here when we visit Chattanooga, and I have no complaints.

The wait time for our unannounced party of 12 on a Sunday at 7 was about an hour. Once seated I quickly ordered 2 pizzas for the 6 kids’ table which came in about 30—45 minutes. The adult crowd ordered 4 more pizzas several appetizers and they came about the same time later. Our server Matt is what really made the entire experience. We ordered a New York style and a Detroit style along with spaghetti and meatballs and a chicken caprese sandwich along with a few salads. The NY was good but the Detroit style was almost inedible. I’m from the Detroit area so I know what it’s supposed to taste like, that’s not it. The spaghetti was good but small portions so we couldn’t share. My daughter did not eat her sandwich, it went in the trash.

I remember this place being much better. The service was slow and inaccurate, and the pizza was good but skimpy in topping, was very greasy, and the sauce tasted slightly too salty. Not sure if I just got them on an off day but it didn’t live up to my memory of when I ate here before.

We've visited before. We split a grown-up fried cheese, a caesar salad and a make your own pizza. SO GOOD! Truly a solid place for pizza!
