We had 3 small children and a small child, and they told us they were full. They claimed they had reservations and no availability and refused to eat there. they were empty in the inner and near empty outside 1 hour of closing. we called a few minutes later and they said they were gonna have a place to lunch. families and children not welcome!
Aways very pleasant Italian atmosphere. very good Italian cuisine with specialties. very often overcrowded, better to reserve
We dropped in without a reservation on a Thursday evening expecting the place to be empty but it was about half full. The welcome was friendly and after some fuss about all the tables being reserved, we were squeezed in. I had swordfish, my...wife pasta and we finished with tiramisu. The food was the best we have eaten in the locality ever. Fresh and attractively presented with some extras like olives and bread sticks. The guy in charge looked like he know what he was doing, but I think the waiters were beginners. This place, if it maintains the standard, will be a big success. The only negative point is that the tables are too close. space and I would rated this as a 5.
This newly refurbished Italian restaurant is the closet you 'll get to authentic Italian cuisine in the area. We went with friends in the evening and were seated at a table by the entry to the kitchen. It was noisy with waiters dropping and clanging plates...and cutlery all night. I will remember to ask to be seated away from the kitchen next time. The owner was friendly and Italian! We ordered the Carpaccio and the grilled veg with truffle oil as a shared starter. I ordered a grilled Bar with vegetables for my main. For dessert, Profiteroles. No complaints. The food was very tasty, fresh and well-seasoned. The décor is modern Italian but not overly so. For evenings and weekends, book in advance and ask for specific seating away from the kitchen or the round table on its own at the front of the restaurant.
