The street outside is plain and uninspiring but as soon as you descend the stairs into the vaulted medieval cave everything changes! The architecture is so unexpected! There was a warm welcome from the mother and son team and we enjoyed warm goat's cheese salad to start and then two delicious pizzas plus a bottle of wine. The food here is delicious and unpretentious, all assembled and cooked in full view, perfect!

This restaurant has a wonderful medieval setting and we enjoyed being there. The service was incredibly slow though! We had a pizza and salad and neither was remarkable. The salad in particular was very disappointing. When we asked for de-ca coffee, instant arrived, so we switched to the real thing which was fine. Very friendly owner and a nice ambiance overall, despite our criticisms!
