Probably the second best restaurant I 've been to since moving to Chaska a couple years ago, and my new favorite for casual American dining. I got a buffalo chicken wrap with tots. My husband and son got their signature burger and liked it. My tots were hot and my wrap was flavorful (In my wrap, I appreciated the blue cheese, which I could taste, as well as the crunch from fresh celery. . Service was good considering we were in a large group. We were with a toddler though, and had to flag a waiter down to get something started for him. The waiter who took the order clearly understood we were ordering pizza bc he asked what side we wanted (it came with the kid 's menu ... however, a plate of cheese curds is what showed up and the person delivering it tried telling us this is was the order they had received. Ultimately, it was taken back and a pizza was out fairly fast. I appreciated the waitstaff gave the group plenty of time to chat/socialize, although, again, with a toddler in tow, time was of the essence for us and that wait was excruciating. Would have wished someone would have seen if they could get orders going a bit sooner, ultimately, so we could have dined with the group and then bowed out gracefully. The bright side is, I can 100% say this place is so big, we were able to walk around with toddler in unoccupied part of restaurant and not disrupt anyone else 's dining experience, which as anyone with small kids will say, is a definite plus! Overall decent digs for food, and as Chaska 'locals, ' will definitely be back. (With or without kids in tow.
I have been a patron here for years and have never been as disappointed as I was today. My food was as expected, but my husband and a friend ordered the prime rib dinner. They both asked for medium rare and the waitress came back to inform them they could only serve medium. Fine. When it hit the table it was medium well and cold in the middle with the texture of bologna. We also had to wait several minutes after the food arrived just to get silverware. I ordered a jack and ginger beer with lime. When the person that was helping the waitress out brought it to me, she said here is your ginger beer . I could have confidently handed this drink to a toddler. There was no alcohol in it. When the waitress came back I pointed this out and she abruptly left the table to chat with the bartender who allegedly said there was a shot in there. They charged me $6.75 for essentially a soda and then another $8.25 for a shot of Jack that should have been there in the first place. Poor customer service and a disappointing experience not worth the $154.47 tab.
I can always count on Cuzzys Brick House for a consistently solid eating experience. I ordered the prime rib hash from the breakfast menu and it didn't disappoint. Fresh sauteed peppers and onions, potato squares and tender chunks of prime rib that I mixed in with the scrambled eggs was very tasty and I would order again. The spices they use in their **** Mary mix isn't my favorite... It wasn't too hot but it was a peppery spicy salty taste that I just didn't personally like. No worries tho as Cuzzy's has a large selection of drink mixes to choose from for my next visit!
We've been here quite a few times (we enjoy seeing Adam Daniel play piano here, inside in the bar area and on the patio) and the food and service is always great. The most recent time we came to see AD Jan 11 our server was amazing. I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she was wonderful (we sat across from the bar near the ramp entrance against the wall that separates the bar from the dining area if that helps). We tried the Coconut Chicken Salad and Cheese Curds as well as a Cheeseburger and everything was delicious. We really enjoy Cuzzy's for the food and the music and everyone who works there is always so nice. We'll be back!
Went out to eat with a group of 5 people, it was very noisy even though it was 5pm. The food was good. When a couple in our group got their bill is showed a .75 charge with a explanation of both. I asked the wait staff and was told it was because they had asked for butter and sour cream for the potato. The friend was frustrated as she had asked if there was an additional charge and was told no. I brought it up again to the waitress and nothing was done. In the end our friends paid the extra but was upset about it. I'm not sure if the waitress didn't think she had ok to take the charge off or was told to not take extra fees off, either way it left a sour taste and this group goes out to each every Friday with a many as 15 to 20 people usually
