Kings BBQ & Chinese Food

Charlottetown truly has a plethora of Chinese restaurantsI found this amusing.

The best Chinese food in town? Must be the only one in town. ordered the ginger chicken lunch special and it was not edible.

This is one of those places that really needs a review.

I said "surprisingly good" because having enjoyed chinese cuisine for much of my life, I have typically avoided chinese restaurants in places with a relatively small chinese population. In my travels I have sampled chinese food that locals have raved about that would be non starters in most other cities. But Kings BBQ was different. We had the szechuan seafood plate and the beef and pan fried noodle dish. Both were very good and cooked just right. The restaurant was basic but popular with the locals. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended when in Charlottetown.

I love this restaurant! There are many wonderful foods, like Lemon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken. I really love the Wonton Soup with BBQ Pork! So Yummy! Next time I will try Chinese Long Beans and Roast Duck. Really good experience in King's BBQ.
