Timberwood Tap House - Charlottesville

Where to begin....no greeting at the door. A departing customer said someone should probably come soon. We were seated at a dirty table, (sticky food residue) asked to be moved to a clean one. Husband had to go find someone and ask if we had a server (twice). Finally got beverages after 25 min. (I would have left but we had been traveling for hours with 86 yr old mother) Wing appetizer was good. Had to ask for plates. Reuben was as flat as a grilled cheese. Mother ate 2

I and a friend had amazing time. Our waitress was the Brittany. She gave the best experience. Hands down great place.

This is a good place to stop for lunch halfway through Virginia from the Quantico area to Virginia Tech. It is very close to UVA. It’s easy to get to from 64. We brought our doggos so we ate outside. The outside area is great shaded and a good atmosphere. The host was very friendly and sat us immediately, we had several servers come and check on us and say hi to our doggos. The food was delicious. The portions were good. We didn’t want any leftovers as we were heading back on the road all in all we had a great time we recommend that you check this one out.

Had a nice lunch. We both ordered the Perfect Chicken Salad. The chicken had a nice crunch and the breading was seasoned nicely. The Timberwood fries were fresh and hot.

Met here with Amy best friend for drinks and a late evening dinner ...the food and drinks was good .it was my 1st time here but I would definitely go back here...
