The Vintage Whiskey Cigar Of Charlotte

I wish I would’ve read the comments before visiting this place. I just started smoking and I was exploring lounges my area. This is the first place that made me feel unwelcome. I had to ask to be let in the humidor and based on the conversation I felt like it was an imposition since I wasn’t a member. It was my understanding that the cigar community is welcoming, especially to newcomers. But you’d never known visiting this place. It’s sad cause I liked the look of this place as well.

It doesn’t take much to surprise a guy like me, but then again, it’s rare to meet a man like the owner of The Vintage Whiskey and Cigar Bar. He’s a sharply dressed figure, exuding a calm authority that only comes with a deep understanding of life’s finer things. As he lit his cigar and sipped his whiskey, he leaned in towards me and said, ‘The secret to a good life isn’t what you have, but how you savor it.’ I sat there, enjoying a glass of whiskey and a fine cigar as he spoke to me in proverbs, each word a carefully crafted riddle. ‘The hardest paths,’ he mused, ‘often lead to the most beautiful views.’ Then he chuckled, as if he knew something the rest of us could only guess at. His words lingered in the air like the smoke from his cigar—rich, complex, and unforgettable. The bar itself is an experience, but the owner is something else entirely. I highly recommend a visit; if you’re fortunate enough to cross paths with him, pay close attention. You might just leave with more than a fine glass of whiskey.

Best cigar lounge in the city!! Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks are awesome and menu is delicious. The best part is the atmosphere, vibe, and selection of great cigars! It’s a must visit…you will not be disappointed.

Darhee's behavior is extremely rude. She turned away simply because I didn't greet her. I merely bought a drink and even gave the bartender a generous tip. There was no reason for me to be banned. Moreover, she mistreats her employees. In contrast, the bartender is excellent and very welcoming. The Vintage cigar I tried was one of the worst I've ever tasted, and my father's cigars are far superior. I believe this venue should be more welcoming and non-judgmental. Not everyone who works or visits there is a millionaire.

Definitely a nice quiet place away from uptown. One of the widest selections of bourbons outside of whiskey warehouse. Really enjoyed the custom drink by Sophie! Definitely a nice quiet date night vibe!
