The Daily Tavern - Charlotte

We held two company events here at The Daily and they were perfect! The location is great and the terrace is a beautiful place to host your customers. The team was extremely helpful and the food was on the spot. Overall, The Daily team has just made the planning/hosting of two events completely stress-free! You always check to make sure everything goes well and swings when things have to change to make the experience better for your guests. Definitely recommend.

Walking by, my friend and I decided to escape the cold and grab a drink. Our bar tender was friendly and attentive and our drinks we're decent. The star of the experience was their house made beef jerky. Definitely would go back for our bar tender and the beef jerky.

The buffalo wings are great with blue cheese. If I ever go back I'll tell them to substitute the pickled carrots and celery for something else. It didn't vibe with the wings

Atmosphere is great- patio is heated has blankets. Food was overall good- fried pickles were a little salty, but the burger chicken club were solid choices. Beach pie was good. Considering we visited on day 2 of their opening, we think the best is yet to come! We will definitely be back.

Beer selection is large and well priced. People that work there are great and attentive. Food, though, is not good. I have waited to eat there a few disappointing times before casting judgement, but tonight’s catastrophe takes it to a new level. The food I’ve had has never been great, but my husbands meal of crab and bacon gnocchi both smelled and tasted like it had gone bad. The bartender came over to ask how our meal was going. When I asked her if the gnocchi dish smelled right, she immediately whisked it back to the kitchen. A kind gesture, though the returning dish shared the same characteristics as the original. We each took a bite for good measure, then asked for the check in fear we might get sick on the spot. Was the crab meat out of an expired can? I hope I never find out. I’m sure we will end up back there for a beer at some point, but will never waste my money on food there again and recommend you don’t, either.
