フィードバックを提供するI've heard little about this restaurant, but I'm so glad my husband and I chose to get takeout from here. We shared a Torta de Cochinita Pibil and a Surf Turf Burrito, and both were fantastic. I preferred the burrito between the two, but you really can't go wrong with either option. The bread on the torta did get a bit soggy, which is typical for takeout, but the sandwich was still delicious. I’m truly impressed by any sandwich that stands up well during takeout. I would love to return and dine in to fully enjoy the experience, as there were plenty of other menu items I’d like to try!
This place is fantastic! We visited for brunch, and everything was wonderful. We ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo and the nooner burrito, both of which were outstanding. The guacamole was exceptionally delicious too. We'll definitely be returning to try the dinner menu!
Located in Piedmont Row (next to Duckworth’s) this is a lovely spot with both indoor and outdoor dining space. Recommend parking in the East garage — parking spots are “compact” on first two levels — but by level 3 it usually opens up.The menu includes good descriptions of the food — allergies are NOT listed, but they are able to accommodate gluten-free requests. Tortillas are made fresh in-house. The flavors are usually quite good — the salsas are always delicious. Chips are not included, but worth ordering. Smaller inside means it can get noisy.
I've visited several times, and I consistently enjoy coming here. The food is both exceptional and unique. I've tried various dishes from the menu, and they've all been fantastic. My favorites are the queso fundido with chorizo and the enchiladas en cazuela from the dinner menu. The atmosphere and service are great as well.
From the menu and descriptions of food, I expected elevated Mexican fare and it was! But the restaurant itself had much more casual vibes than I expected with more than half of the seating on the patio (which was covered at the time I was there perhaps due to weather? . I don’t say that as a negative—I really enjoyed it! I have heard raves about brunch here but I also want to add that dinner is fabulous. We had queso fundido (excellent, but not super easy to dip , salsa and guac for appetizers. The steak taco is the best taco I’ve ever had! The pork belly is also delicious. Really delicious chips, too. I will be back for brunch one day!
