Genghis Grill - Charlotte

This Genghis Grill is not the same as before; it's under new management and definitely for the better. The staff are fantastic—friendly, quick, and efficient. The food is fresh, and the place is spotless. The variety of options is impressive, especially the availability of quinoa as a base. If you've been considering a visit, now is the perfect time. Get in your car and go create your own bowl!

Fantastic service! The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. They have $5 margaritas right now, and they are incredible. The new management is really doing an excellent job. I can't wait to return!

I frequently take my kids to this restaurant, and they absolutely love it! They enjoy watching the chefs cook and have a blast banging the gong (as long as they ask nicely, of course). Recently, I've noticed an improvement in the food quality. Having lived in Charlotte my entire life, I can say this place has been around for quite some time. It would be great to see some updates to the decor and give it a more modern feel. However, the food never disappoints, and we really appreciate the staff. If you're searching for a wonderful family dining experience, this is definitely the spot to visit.

I’ve been coming here for a few years. It’s disappointing to see the decline in this once nice restaurant. The buffet bar is at 50% capacity at most. The overall appearance is mediocre. Post pandemic state is quite different! It was good while it lasted.

As someone who's visiting for the first time, it's not good to see 5 or more tables waiting to be cleaned off. Then you realize how long it takes for you to be sat down. We later realize how bad it actually was. As we were sat down we realize how many more tables hadnt been cleaned off. When you go to pick out your ingredients everything the whole area is a hot mess. Food everywhere in the floor and near the sections. I was concerned for cross contamination. The cooking area looked gross as well. Floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. If that's going to be an area the customer sees wouldn't you want it to be cleaned? The workers looked like they didn't want to be there and looked like they were just hanging out. As a first experience there, I would give it a hard miss/pass will not be back. Although our server was nice, the atmosphere was not it. Not worth it.
