Due Amici Pizza - Charlotte

I’ve been servicing this establishment for years and did not have any complaints, but on this particular day I visited I asked for mushrooms to be added to my cheese pizza and the young man added them without any gloves. I mentioned this to the manager whose response was that “the heat kills the germs” and that they don’t wear gloves. I mean………….yuk!

Visiting from out of town googled pizza, this placed popped up for New York style. Reviews were good so I figured we’d give it a shot….and man am I glad we did!! Bar none, without a doubt the BEST pizza I’ve EVER eaten!!! The garlic knots were off the charts as well all at a VERY affordable price!

We’re from New Haven CT where some of the best rated restaurants are. Our takeout order was very good. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Love the food here. I'm from the Bronx and the pizza here is pretty damn good.

PIzza tastes like home! They have the same ovens as home and the same food as home.
