Bay Leaf Indian Grill - Charlotte

Bayleaf will be our go to Indian Restaurant after the first visit. Excellent staff. Food was phenomenal. I had Biryani, my wife had Palak Paneer, both were great, service was great. Wheelchair accessibility was great.

Having come a few times now, I need to update my review. As good as food is, the service is at the other end of the spectrum. The servers are unfriendly and it takes a while to get noticed when you are sat. We were hoping it was just a fluke but it has it has been consistently poor. It's very disappointing because we really enjoy the food. :

Loved the food and quality is quite impressive but only if the chef could avoid adding too many black peppercorns in the dosa especially Rave Dosa that I had last night, way too many black peppercorns and Rava dosa was quite hard to chew as well.

Lively atmosphere with nice Indian music playing on a decent sound system. Nice staff and good service. Food was great and freshly prepared. goat chops were tasty and juicy. Pepper chicken was tasty. I recommend trying this place especially if you like India food

Went with friends for a dinner. Ambiance was ok. Food was good. Soup was a little sweet. Chicken 65 biryani was delicious. Staff was helpful and overall experience was good.Food: 4/5
