The Low Down - Charleston

Love IT!. This is a rare discovery on James Island. The location is great, family-friendly, outdoor seating and fantastic food. I was several times and tried another article on the menu each time. My favorites have been the tomato cakes, the nachos and the meatballs. There is a different flare to eat, just what JI needs and not just another bar with bar food. I am very pleased to take my family here and enjoy an evening with dinner and drinks or just stop for a quick bite for lunch.

Tried lowdown for lunch, got 2 sandwiches (shortrib and peach bbq) that were great. Cocktails were even better. I thought the service was great, and I'm glad to go back!

Quaint bar and grill. Got wings with hot and 4sho hot which are hot but not to an extreme degree. Please remember I like spicy things. They make their own ranch dressing and it is awesome. So far I have to say the wings alone are worth coming for. Main dish burger with out bun, my choice cutting carbs kinda . All in all worth coming back to.

Showed up with a party of 12, and they did an amazing job. Loud atmosphere with all the screens but the food was amazing and the service was great. I had the pesto chicken pizza and let me tell you, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Simply wonderful, and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll be back here in a heartbeat!!

This place has the best specials! My family comes almost every Thursday for half priced burger night, one of the best burgers you can get here in Folly and who can beat half off! The salads are delicious here as well as the pizza, I’ve never had a meal here I didn’t enjoy!
