Poogan's Porch - Charleston

Overrated. Just poor quality food. Very disAppointing

Brunch was delicious! We loved the fried green tomatoes and biscuts and gravy. We also loved the historic house.

Awesome Brunch menu! Can't visit Charleston without enjoying Brunch here. Chicken and Waffles and Pulled Pork Benedict are a must try!

Food is excellent, but service is constantly a bit slow here

We were on vacation to Charleston and Poogan's Porch was the restaurant I selected as a special treat on our last night in town. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The room was LOUD and it was hard to converse with my husband. I wish I had asked to be moved to a different room or section. We sat in silence quite often as it was hard to talk loud enough to be heard. We were seated at a small table for two so we were not next to each other but across the table. We had left overs and our waiter packed them up nicely and kindly included a couple of the delicious biscuits. Overall, it was a nice experience/meal.
