Excellent! Only visited once (so far) with my Mother and would definitely go again! The decor is vibrant and whimsical, the music is island vibe and the food and drinks are reasonable (we were there during happy hour (4pm to 7pm) and the happy hour menu is very reasonable (no more than $6 or $7 per item). Food is very well flavored, good portions and bar drinks are yummy (not weak). Friendly staff as well. Great place in one of the coolest parts of Charleston. Go!
Great, friendly service and a good place to get a drink of an evening. Definitely meets the expectation with a wall full of rums on offer. Happy hour till 7pm. Banana daiquiri was super tasty with a hint of cinnamon!
Stopped in on Sunday night near closing time for drinks and dessert. The drinks were great, the rum cake was pretty good and the service was good (even though it was near closing time). We would definitely return if in the area again.
I had a good time here. We tried a lot of drinks and a few food options. I had the coconut curry shrimp and my partner and I shared the tuna..he had the jerk chicken. The flavors were good. However, the tuna was cooked a little more than I prefer. While it was good, I still haven't tasted any Caribbean food that can compete with Caribbean Delight. The drinks are another story. I started with the pina colada old fashioned. The coconut ice cube made this drink. The dark and stormy is something you can't get anywhere else because they make their own ginger beer, and their ginger beer is delicious. My partner had the zombie. I didn't like this one because I dont like black licorice and it has Absinthe in it....but it's apparently the strongest drink they have. The mojito was amazing; I usually don't like unflavored mojitos but I liked theirs....and they take very good care of their mint....we sat at the bar, and it was pretty much like watching art looking at them preparing drinks. The daiquiri was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Nothing like fresh fruit and ingredients being used in a drink. We did try other drinks but my favorite would have to be the dark stormy.
