Dave's - Charles City

Carolyn and I visited Dave's, where I ordered a hearty dish topped with hash browns, eggs, cheese, and sausage gravy. The talented chefs in the kitchen delivered an incredible meal that I can confidently say is one of the best I've ever had.

This is a fantastic restaurant! I truly appreciate the warm hospitality. It's been some time since our last visit, but I have to say that today the food was simply outstanding.

I intended to dine there today, but the service was disappointing. The waitress approached me and asked if I wanted coffee, and I accepted. I then mentioned that I needed a few minutes to look at the menu. However, after 15 minutes, I still hadn’t received my coffee, and she never returned. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, and I got the impression that I wouldn’t be served anytime soon, so I decided to leave.

Give it a try for yourself! The breakfast buffet is much better than the lunch buffet.
