Picante - The Real Taco - Chantilly

So disappointed, this food is so salty. I couldn't even eat it and the meat is old. Recooked and burned. Most of the meat is gristle. The other people reviewing must be family friends.

Super cool taco joint located in the back of a Latino Mini Market. I love all the different tacos they have here and it reminds me exactly of the ones I've eaten on the streets of Mexico City and Oaxaca : All tacos come with two corn tortillas and are packed with meat. I've gotten the Al Pastor and Chorizo and both are extremely good and everything comes out piping hot. The tacos come with a lil side of pico de gallo, one salsa verde, one salsa rojo, a lime and some cucumbers/radish for garnish/crunch and to help cut through the fattiness/richness of the meat! Both salsas are very tasty but the salsa rojo is volcanic hot you've been warned!! The lady at the cash register is incredibly nice and she recommended I get the carnitas her favorite , which I will get next time!, along with a lamb taco. Please look at all of the 26 reviews and notice that they are all 5 stars, except for literally just 2 people. This place should have a 5 star overall rating. If you want some authentic tacos at a great price $3 a pop at a no frills place Tacos Lagos is the spot!!!

Delicious food! Tacos and tortas were authentic and delicious. Highly recommended. The food was very reasonably priced. They have a grocery store for authentic items but we only got a delicious lunch.

I love tacos but they have to be authentic tacos. Tacos Lagos is killin it! Carne asada are my fav. Love their sopa de res y la de gallina! My husband and friends love their chicken quesadillas too. Staff is always friendly and food is made in a timely manner. Damn good spot! Check it out.

I've been going here for lunch for the last few months and it is amazing. The tacos are always prepared fresh and they just taste wonderful.
