This place used to be great but has been going steadily downhill for the last 2 years. I still like coming here because of their weekday lunch special but the moment I find another good lunch special, I'll probably stop coming here. Their spring rolls are like the size of your forearm. So huge. Lately even this has been going downhill and the last 2 times, they've been burnt and not cooked well. The pho itself has a decent flavor. The broth was more flavorful 2 years ago I'd say. It tastes a bit more watered down now and I'm not sure that they use enough cilantro nowadays.
I've come here atleast once or twice a week to order their lunch special, everything's been good, customer service and all, lately, however the pho broth has been served warm, wish it was piping hot!, currently looking for a new spot for pho.
Worth it? Yes Repeat? Yes.. and their TO GO is just as good! I'll always drive the 20 minutes to get this soup. Years ago, they won some NOVA best Pho but I wouldn't say it's the best. Not Eden Center great but good enough! $13 Large Pho Tai never fails to hit the spot. The broth is rich and has a bit of herb-like taste that's a bit different from the other Pho places around Chantilly/South Riding area Spring rolls are packed and super crispy. It's big enough to warrant the $6.50 price tag Sometimes the taste of the soup is inconsistent which knocks it half a star but the restaurant runs efficiently and clean to round up to 5!
I haven't been since before Covid and Pho 102 is still delicious! Got the meatball pho with the summer roll lunch special. I will have to go back very soon!
