フィードバックを提供するWe lived in Peru, and Don Churro has very well-prepared and tasty Peruvian food. Everything was fresh and right off the stove hot, and my wife said the Pisco Sour was delicious. We didn't try the actual churros as the food proportions were very generous (with an appetizer you could split an entree), but they looked great at the next table. There was a live singer accompanied by generated music, but he was pretty good and very entertaining, but not so loud as to drown out conversation.
Part of Anniversary Weekend. This is authentic Peruvian food presented beautifully and cooked just right. We had anticuchos, causa, and lomo saltado as well as pisco sours and moradas. The churros with dulce de leche were a sweet finish. The lomo stood out as did an excellent pisco sour. The flavors were well balanced and nostalgic for us.
The Peruvian food at this restaurant is excellent! As someone from Miami who misses all things Latin American, I can say that this meal was like a taste of home. The Tiradito is delicious, especially with the sauce. I recommend ordering the rocoto chili for those who love spicy food.
I am disappointed to say that the food at this restaurant was not up to par. We had to send one of the dishes back. Thankfully, they did not charge us for it. The customer service was just average, nothing outstanding. The menu offers a good variety of options, but it may be hit or miss. I hope that you have a better dining experience than I did. On the bright side, they have a pleasant bar and atmosphere to relax and socialize.
This restaurant has the best ceviche, empanadas from all of South America, lomo saltado, and fantastic service!
