Kyano - Chania

This is a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a meal by the sea. I highly recommend trying a unique bottle of wine from Anatolikos Weinberg, which is fermented and aged unfiltered with indigenous yeasts. The wine, called "orange" due to its color, offers notes of apricot, honey, pineapple, and orange peel. While the food may not stand out as much, the service is excellent. Overall, it is great value for money and a hidden gem. I would rate the food 7/10, service 9/10, ambiance 8/10, and price-quality ratio 9/10.

We visited this restaurant on our first day of our week-long vacation and ended up having the majority of our meals here. We absolutely loved it from the start! The service was fantastic, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. It really added to our overall experience. They even had sunbeds so we could spend the whole day there, enjoying both the delicious meals and the sun and sea. We will definitely be returning to Crete and, of course, to Kyano. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has a stunning beachfront location that is peaceful and immaculately clean. Customers can enjoy complimentary sunbeds while dining on delicious food served with friendly service on the terrace and by the beach. The menu offers a variety of tasty options and the cocktails are top-notch. Located in Platanias, this restaurant even has a parking lot, making it convenient for visitors. We found ourselves returning almost daily and highly recommend this place.

Kyano is a beautiful restaurant on the beach in platanias. even better in the evening or in the early evening such a beautiful little place. After working for 20 years in the hospitality, a thing I love to be recognized and remembered by the staff, fantastic customer service is a thing that I love. the food and cocktails are also delicious and very reasonable. could not fail to fail and definitiw worth visiting if they are in the opposite.
