The Ribeye Of Champaign

Nice date with the friend, although I'm pretty sure it's not what he expects or strives for. Romantic, this place is not only welcoming, welcoming and much more of a family feel it is. The food was delicious. The service was nice. More of a place where I would take a big group, then a date, but if you knew what you were when it was exactly what you would hope.

I came here for a birthday dinner for a family member on a Saturday night. They do not make reservations on Saturdays (which is good at me) and we had a party of six, so we had to wait just like everyone else. It will serve first and wait was estimated at 30 minutes. We waited for about 15 or 20 minutes. As soon as we set ourselves, there were fresh ice-water glasses waiting for us. Our waitress gave us enough time to check the menus and take over our orders. She was very friendly and made sure to keep an eye on our drinks and tables to remove dirty dishes and fill our drinks. The salad bar was filled and kept fresh and a sanitary station was there to observe the health and safety guidelines and reduce the spread of germs. I ordered an alcohol coffee drink and it was made fresh and delivered immediately. It was delicious and warm and so fresh that the picked cream did not begin to melt and mix into the coffee despite warming. We all 6 ordered ribeye steaks and they all came on a plate that sat a flat cast iron skilled surface on a wooden ring to prevent burns. The stakes were so fresh that they were thrown on the plates and one could move the steaks to another place on the plate and Sizzling would go on. They were not over or under season. They tasted as if they had seasoned only a little salt and no other pretentious spices. The baked potatoes and twice baked potatoes were perfectly cooked like steaks. The restaurant manager was very friendly and took some recommendations to the heart and made notes for the next meeting with the new owner. We told our server about the birthday for our family member and they brought a free desert. The waiting times were very short, service was excellent, and the food was amazing. I can definitely see I'm going back here when I bless Steak.

Beautiful atmosphere with a great menu and exquisite salad bar. Great waiting staff. Very polite and knowledgeable. No waiting time. Kellner was attentive and friendly. The price was reasonable. The food was delicious and well prepared and they give a free ice cream with a candle treats at the house when it is your birthday. I would recommend The Ribeye to everyone! If I could give 100 stars, I would.

Everything here was just great! Eating was made perfect and our server was super and very helpful. We definitely come back when we're in the area. Lemon cake was so good we forget to take a picture of it. highly recommended!

We got to the restaurant close to 8pm (which we felt bad about) and absolutely no one made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We also had a two year old with us... all parents know this could ruin some good dinners lol! Dee, our waitress was absolutely incredible! She was very attentive but not annoying, she was so so sweet, and even took my son up to get a refill and meet the bartender(which he loved). The manager came over and checked on us, he was very kind. The food came out and was so delicious, and the salad bar was better than ever. I cannot express enough how great our dinner experience was.
