This place is with the exception of security. You were lucky that we were not at home in Chicago and were in Champaign lmao
10/10 Bad Experience, I will surely miss the adventure after Lion moves locations!
It is a decent bar and relatively cheap when you buy the specialties. The cover ranges from free to seniors night to about $20 on hectic weekends; most of the time, it's $10.
UIUC staple bar. The floors are wet, the music is loud, the people are rowdy. The drinks are ok, the specials are nice, and senior night is always a plus. If a true college dive bar is not your speed steer away from Lion.
