Chinese Express - Champaign

Absolutely wonderful! I rated the decor a 1 simply because it wasn't relevant to our experience, as we had our food delivered. We're on holiday in Champaign and placed a $20 delivery order from Empire around 1 PM. They delivered our food in under 30 minutes, and we even had enough left over for lunch the next day! The sesame chicken was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it perfect for our girls, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan was among the best I've had, loaded with a variety of vegetables, especially mushrooms. Fantastic flavors, excellent service, and overall a great experience! We highly recommend giving them a try!

I visit this restaurant three times a week, and I have to say that the prices are quite reasonable for the portion sizes. Most of the dishes, which are authentic Chinese cuisine, taste really good—definitely better than what you find nearby. I can't speak to the American Chinese dishes, though.

The portions are huge, the flavors are fantastic, and the service is quick and friendly. Some of my favorite dishes include the Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Pork. The combo dinner also includes a tasty egg roll and complimentary tea or water. Empire is my top choice for Chinese food in C-U!
