The hotel and the restaurant lack personality and integration with the site and the exceptional history of Chambord. They could tomorrow be transplanted anywhere in the world with the same staff, the same stereotypical reflexes, the same kitchen....

Service not very pleasant and very expensive for quality products

The exceptional location can not forget the disadvantage of the stay: a very soundproof high room (we hear the lively conversations of the staff of the floors in the hallway as well as the neighbors), the restaurant room "bistrot" where we dined twice is not a restaurant room but a corridor that leads to the bar (not pleasant or friendly, but not other restaurants without taking a vehicle), we had spent two nights.
