They may have good food, but the way they treat their workers is anything but good. The cooks and dishwashers can eat anything they want while the waitresses can starve as far as they're concerned. If a mistake is made in the kitchen and nobody in the back wants it, they will literally throw the food away before offering the food to a waitress. The waitresses get $3 a day to spend on meals, and if you get your grilled cheese or fries and get busy... oh well, you wasted your$3. They care less . Meanwhile the waitresses have to watch the dishwashers eating fried chicken, Swiss steak, whatever they want. There's a girl who's worked at johnnie's 30 years as a waitress and never got a raise. Still no free food. Nothing. Staff is treated horribly, like modernb day slaves.

Love, love, love the food and family-friendly atmosphere at Johnnie’s!! The food is that of a five-star fine dining rating with a comfortable and welcoming feel. The salads are out of this world with variety and flavor! The sandwiches are filled with fresh ingredients and they offer great specials every day! Homemade Italian pasta dishes are delicious! This is my go to restaurant in the area because the quality is on point! It really is a hidden gem! The waitresses, cooks and owners are the best!

Great food and definitely worth every penny...food is made from scratch and prepared fresh daily. This is my go-to for comfort food, when I feel like having someone else cook for me. A
