The silver dollar is one of best small town bars in SD and I’ve been to quite a few. If you’re looking for an authentic, hometown experience with good food and drinks, this is the spot. Stopped in on a cross country drive to Georgia from Seattle to a have some beers and play pool. When I got there the bar was great with three pool tables, foosball, soft tip darts and gaming machines. Turns out the young folks who hang out there are insular and not very welcoming. However the bartender this Saturday, Bud, was very excellent and you should give him a big tip. Price per person: $20–30
