Rio Chama Espresso

Just stopped for a cup of coffee and discovered this wonderful place! Ordered coffee, tea and muffins, and all were wonderful! Muffins were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and served warm. Tea was freshly brewed in an individual pot and was perfect. Goodselection of black, green and herbal teas. Seating available both inside and out. Great decor! Super friendly staff! Glad westumbled on to this place...great find!

Glad we stopped in. Breakfast choices in town seem limited. They have more than just espresso! They actually have some very good breakfast sandwiches and plenty of breads and pastries and a great staff to top it off.

Understaffed at 7 am, but very friendly and helpful. We were so tickled pink to find a real coffee and great food in Chama. Because there is NOTHING else there ??.

Second time we've been. Coffee (we had the medium roast) was excellent as was service. This particular day the staff mentioned that at least two people did not show up for work making her job a nightmare. I only overheard this, she was speaking to someone she knows.so kudos to her for keeping a friendly, caring service orientation during a busy morning. The pastries were ok, we also had an egg bagel who we both did not like so much, the flavor was good in my opinion, but the bagel too doughy/soft. These are pre made and baked in their oven. If they can figure out how to make these fresh on the fly, I think they would be much more appealing, The coffee was VERY good. I'll definitely go back for that, maybe more.Clean inside, nice arrangement of tables and there is seating outside with heaters.

Great latte and muffins, indoor and outdoor eating space. Our favorite stop in Chama!
