Located in the new platform of Howrah Station, this restaurant has recently been renovated and now offers a few seating options with air conditioning. However, during busy hours, seating may be limited. The restaurant is fairly clean and has expanded its menu to include a variety of snacks in addition to vegetarian and non-vegetarian main meals. While we found the service to be quick, some snack items were unavailable when we visited in the afternoon. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but overall, it is a good choice for travelers looking for a quick bite or a full meal at Howrah Station.
Fast and decent service..Food is average but considering that speed is of essence and the hurry the passengers are in, one does not mind it. Serves South Indian and North Indian food along with Biryani and sweets. Has a juice counter as well. Very few seats to sit and eat. People mostly eat standing at the tables. Takeaways are also possible.
Being a frequent traveller I used to visit this place for packed lunch or dinner for ongoing journey from howrah. The food quality are very average and expensive too while calculating value for money.
I often travel..... and very often I have to eat at railway canteens.... most of those are horrible....But in Comesum I find it somewhat good in terms of hygiene.... great variety they have.... you can find them in some of the major railway stations across India.... but only thing bothers you is money....They give good food but charges are quite on the higher side.... I wonder that in a station as busy as Howrah or NDLS there are more than a million footfall.... but only a handful pay visit to comesum just because of this excess pricing....
