David’s Hideaway - Central Square

The restaurant has two new waiters, one cook, and can get very busy on certain nights, resulting in longer wait times for food. One customer got upset because she felt mistreated by a waiter. The food is always delicious and not overpriced. I would recommend dining there for the good food and music. Any negative reviews from former employees' friends are likely just attempts to harm the restaurant's reputation.

They are not enforcing mask-wearing protocols, which puts both their business and patrons at risk.

Worst experience!! Waited 2 hours for the food to come and it was under cooked, some things were burnt and they “ran out” of food so we didn’t get it all! The waitress was great we felt so bad for her. The owner was so mean to her! The owner didn’t even say sorry he was so RUDE walked away from us. Never will go back!!

Food was absolutely horrible. Waited over an hour for our food. Just for us to either not get it, have it be burnt or have it be raw. The owner did absolutely nothing for us, told us to talk to the server. Very unprofessional!!! Will never go back!

Terrible terrible food. I've been many places and this is by far the worst place I've ever been!!! Food took almost 2 hours and was burnt. We demanded the owner because it wasn't the waitresses fault. He came over and we all told him our issues and he said he'd get the waitress. He tried to pin it on her. My sons coney was black, burgers undercooked and mozzarella sticks were empty. Chicken tenders looked like small pieces of fish. Owner did absolutely nothing or admit to how bad his business is ran. Waitress told us the cook was new and the owner was dictating the cook. Clams had more sand than sylvan beach! We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks since the first round of drinks was all we got! Owner finally gave us about 20 free drink cards. We gave them away. It was about 15 of us in our party outside. Only one other table of 4 people and a couple people at the bar. This place would've fell apart if it was actually busy!!! This was a plan B since our original destination (wild horse) was packed. No wonder why David's hideaway had so much open seating! I wouldn't go again if it was free! I refused to pay for anything tonight but gave the waitress a generous tip since it wasn't her fault and I'm sure she'll take all the blame since David isn't man enough to grow the balls and admit his establishment is trash. John taffer needs to rescue this place or it'll be closed very soon!
